What Are Findings?
Findings is the term used in jewellery making to describe items that form the foundation or base within a design. In order to make earrings, for example, you may use a range of earring findings such as ear wires, that hook through the ear, and headpins that can thread on the beads to join the ear wire. An example of these items in use can be seen in the instructions how to make basic earrings .
There are a huge array of findings available and skilled jewellery makers may even make their own such as jump rings, but many prefer to buy commercially available components for their ease and consistency.
Below you'll find a range of quality components from glue in end beads to stone setting frames; all designed to enhance your creations.
