Jeweltailor 100 Mixed Children’s Sparkly Beads Independently Reviewed

Even if you believe you offer good products, it’s always worth whilst having them independently reviewed.

This was why we were delighted to work with Briony from www.anywaytostayathome.com who we invited to review our Children’s 100 Mixed Sparkly Beads With Seaworld & Glow In The Dark Beads.

Briony is a mum, lifestyle blogger and product tester so she was ideal to give an honest, independent review as we had no prior relationship with each other.

JewelTailor Children’s Bracelet Kit

05/06/2014

The lovely JewelTailor recently sent me one of their kids bracelet kits to try out and review.

With 100 beads, including glow in the dark and seaworld beads, elastic and instructions there is everything you need to make at least 5 bracelets and have a lot of fun.

There are butterfly’s, shells, fish, sparkly, opalescent and glow in the dark beads, they are in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. What a brilliant way to spend a wet afternoon with your child, for ages 3+ this kit will provide you with a few hours entertainment with minimal input from the grown ups (yes you can sit back with a cuppa and just keep an eye on them playing, hurrah).

Making the bracelets is really straight forward, the elastic for the bracelets is clear plastic so doesn’t fray and is firm enough to be easily passed through the small holes. All you will need is a pair of scissors to cut the elastic to size, a tray or mat to keep the beads in check and maybe a dab of superglue to stop the knots coming undone, although I haven’t found I needed this.

The instructions are simple and cover what you need to know, the correct length to cut the elastic, the best knot to tie and some simple hints and tips.

This is a really good fun way to introduce kids to crafting, pretty beads and instant results, no drying, cooking, waiting time at all.

As my little boy is far to young I used the kit when my friend bought her daughter over, she LOVED it and we got to have an actual chat whilst she sat happily on the floor making all different designs, she only needed us to tie the knots and cut the elastic. She loved the glow in the dark beads, we had to get creative with a blanket so she could see them working but it was worth it and I’ve been lucky enough to have been left with a bracelet all of my own. She is such a cutey pie!

The kit is only £3.99 and we got well more than £3.99 worth of use out of it, we’ve spent a lot more keeping the kids amused in the past!! There are loads of things to choose from on the site, grown up jewellery kits, loads of beads and fixings, useful storage boxes, everything you could need, have a look.
