It’s always nice to see what our customers make and even more so when they create something for the first time!
Our March giveaway prize winner, Helen Ramos is a great example, as prior to winning she had never made jewellery before and appears to have taken to it very quickly!
Below are some of her designs and she even took the time to share these tips for anyone else yet to embark!
“Hello, I’ve been making some earrings and a few bits and pieces. I would say my best tips that I have learnt through trial and error is to make sure you use the correct tools for the job and not to just make do with the first thing at hand, if you are trying to sell them the effort for perfection shows in the details and finish of the item as well as presentation if you are selling on a stall. and also what i did the other week was invite a close group of friends over and showed them what i had made from your kit and also from the earring and rings I’ve done and asked them to write suggestions on improvements / what they liked or disliked and what they would pay for them. this helped me a lot as it turned out my colour range was to small and people like a wide variety of clashing colours which horrified me!!
